Digital acquaintanceship

In the 21st century, knowing how to use computer systems is a skill that is just as important as reading and writing. At AFSC, we ensure our students become computer literate by providing them with practical and theoretical ICT classes.

From class 3, ICT becomes a compulsory subject in our students timetable and they get weekly classes under the guidance of an ICT teacher. Students start off by learning how to use an operating system and software like Microsoft Word and Paint. As their skills develop they move on to use more software and gradually learn to perform advanced tasks.

ICT classes take place in our own computer labs that are equipped with high-speed internet and a range of software. Sometimes they might receive project work for other subjects that require the use of a computer and through ICT classes and other activities, our students become computer literate which is essential in the world we live in today.
